Data Deletion Instructions

Businesses are the account holders. They own the workspace, its knowledge base, contacts, conversations, bookings and connected channels, and they can delete all of it themselves.

Customers of a business are the people who message or call it. Fulcrum processes their data on that business's behalf. Their requests go to the business first, and Fulcrum helps carry them out.

Sign in, open Settings, then Legal. Under Your data, choose Delete my account and type DELETE EVERYTHING to confirm.

Deletion runs immediately and is permanent. There is no grace period and no undo. You are signed out as soon as it completes, and your team members lose access at the same time.

If you want a copy first, use Download my data on the same page. It produces a JSON export of the account before anything is removed.

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or from the business owner's address, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request comes from someone entitled to make it, then delete the account and confirm to you by email.

We complete verified requests within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.

Your messages, contact details and bookings are held for the business you contacted. Under privacy law that business is the controller and Fulcrum is its processor, so the quickest route is to ask the business directly.

You can also email [email protected]. Tell us the business you contacted and the phone number, WhatsApp number or account handle you used. We will identify the records, coordinate with the business, and see the deletion through within 30 days.

Deleting removes the copies Fulcrum holds. Copies on your own device, and copies held by WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, are governed by Meta's terms and are not ours to delete.

A business that connected a Facebook Page, an Instagram account or a WhatsApp Business Account to Fulcrum can disconnect it in Settings under Channels. Disconnecting removes the stored access credential for that channel.

You can also remove the Fulcrum AI app from your Facebook account under Settings and privacy, Settings, Business integrations. That revokes Fulcrum's access on Meta's side. To have the data Fulcrum already stored deleted as well, follow section 2 or email us as in section 3.

Deletion applies to the live system at once. A small number of records are kept because the law requires it, and only for as long as it requires.
